Dunblane Cathedral Society of Change Ringers

The Dunblane Cathedral Society of Change Ringers ring the Cathedral’s tower bells.  We ring the bells regularly for the Cathedral services and also for special occasions such as Weddings.

The tower bells are used for a type of bellringing called change ringing which originated in England in the 16th and 17th century.  In change ringing the bells are swung 360 degrees using a rope and wheel with one ringer per bell.  For further information about change ringing follow the link below.
