 Bible Society
The National Bible Society of Scotland exists to make God's Word available for all
people in a language they can understand at a price they can afford. It is a member
of the United Bible Societies serving Churches in 180 countries. It encourages Bible
reading in this country by providing a variety of resource materials and gives information
about the needs of fellow Christians in other countries.
The local committee, composed of representatives from each Church in Dunblane,
organises several fund-raising events throughout the year as well as publishing the
broader work of the Society.
