Start Up

STIRLING START-UP is a charity based in Stirling, supported by 20 churches including our own.  It provides help in the form of food, cleaning materials and  household goods, to homeless people moving into council tenancies and also packs of emergency goods for those moving into temporary accommodation such as B and B.  Toiletries are provided to all who need them. 

What we provide in the Standard Packs is as follows ;-

Everyone is also provided with a copy of a Gospel

The utensils and towels  etc do not have to be new as long as they are clean and in good condition.

We are also happy to receive items for Toiletries Packs such as Shampoo, Deodorant, Shower Gel, Flannels, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste and Tissues, suitable for either men or women.  Sanitary protection is given to women and Disposable Razors and Shaving Foam/Gel to men.

This information also appears on the notice boards in the Church and the Hall .  If you feel that you are able to support  STIRLING START-UP,  please bring your contributions  along to the Cathedral at any time and place in the collecting box in the Welcome area.   Occasionally, when we run low, we put out an appeal for specific items.
